根据印度卫生部的每日数据，印度周日的每日新冠病例有所下降。印度在 24 小时内报告了 18,166 例新病例。此外，自去年 3 月以来，活跃病例数一直低于新冠病例总数的 1%。
然而，每日死亡人数继续增加。在过去的 24 小时内，印度报告了 214 人死亡。迄今为止，该国共有 4,50,589 人死于冠状病毒感染。

印度周日的每周阳性率为 1.57%，过去 107 天不到 3%。
迄今为止，印度的累计新冠疫苗接种覆盖率已超过 9.462 亿。其中，68,00,70,189 剂为第一剂，26,62,20,118 剂为第二剂。
