昨天晚上看到华大圣路易斯突发新闻说，新生可以有Need-blind助学金了。因为他们的教育基金投资的MEP（Managed Endowment Pool）在2020-2021财年获得了65%的回报率。所以，准备用8个亿来支持本科生教育，立刻将助学金政策改为Need blind，且100%满足学生的要求。另外2个亿用来支持研究生等的教育。
简单解释下Need blind，就是在申请过程中，你申请助学金不影响你的录取，不会因为你申助学金提高你的入学标准。
昨天没有看官网，在新闻上看的，后来发现错了，这个Need blind不针对国际生，乌龙了，不好意思，这里赶紧道个歉！官网对国际生是否有助学金是这样解释的：
最后一句“although we meet 100% of need for these students.”很迷幻。我的理解是，你可以申助学金，但是可能会影响录取，但是学校如果录取你，会100%满足你的要求。
对于国际生能够实现Need blind的学校目前看只有5所，他们是哈佛，普林斯顿，阿姆赫斯特，耶鲁，MIT。另外，据说今年8月官宣芝加哥大学对UWC的学生实行Need blind政策 （芝加哥大学官网上没有说明），是所有的了。对国际生提供助学金的学校见：

如果就谈助学金，根据USNEWS的统计，给国际生--助学金最多的几所学校如下（没有排名的学校没有统计在里面比较）：
