本次教学,孩子需要培养的阅读意识是:check understanding and clear up confusion
孩子阅读一则故事,应该学会确认自己是否能理解文字。再有,孩子需要意识到自己有哪些地方不理解。如果感觉文字理解不通顺,孩子应该利用语境,尽量把文字难点解释通顺。
开始练习喽!
一、让孩子阅读下面的诗歌。
Tyrone’s Sunny Saturday
I feel the sun shine on my face
and the sand between my toes.
I listen to the crashing ocean waves
and smell salt air in my nose.
We spread the blanket on the perfect spot,
and I take the shovel in my hand.
I start to dig and begin to build
a castle made from sand.
I look for shells and bring them back
to make castle windows and doors.
Then my sister and I take a swim
and ride the waves back to shore.
We take a break for our picnic lunch,
then find shells to take back home.
We swim and play until the day grows cool,
and then it’s time to go.
二、妈妈让孩子拿着荧光笔,问孩子下面两个问题。

② 下列四件事情中,有哪一件事情,是这首诗没有提到的?把没有提到的事情,划上绿色荧光笔。

三、对对答案
