another指三个以上不定数目中的“另一个、类似的一个”。例如：
This route takes us too long. There must be another that is shorter.
走这路时间太长，一定有另一条短一些的路线。
结构分析：This route是主语，takes是谓语，us是宾语，too long是宾语补语。 There是表语，must be是系动词，another是主语，that引导定语从句，在从句中作主语，is shorter是系表型谓语（is是动词，shorter是表语）。

注意与the other的区别。the other特指“两者中的另一个”。例如：
We have only two dresses. If you don’t want this one, I’ll show you the other.
