英语语法：名词所有格的构成

前几期介绍了英语语法：不可数名词量的表示、兼用于可数和不可数名词的物质名词、同一个名词用于可数和不可数名词时意义差别。这一期学习英语语法：名词所有格的构成。

通常，在英语的名词词尾加上-’s表示所属关系，称之为名词所有格。

1.名词所有格的构成

1）在名词后面加-’s

John’s schoolbag

约翰的书包。

the winner’s award

获奖者的奖品

the champion’s gift

冠军的礼物

2)-s结尾的复数名词，在词尾加上’。

the girls’ phones

女孩们的手机

the actors’ addresses

演员们的地址

the teachers’ gifts

老师们的礼物

3）不规则复数名词后加-’s。

the children’s toys

孩子们的玩具

the fishermen’s boats

渔民们的小船

4）作为整体的词组，一般在最后一个词的词尾加’s。

Mary and Peter’s desk

玛丽和彼特的书桌(两个人共有)

Mary’s and Peter’s desks

玛丽和彼特各自的书桌

an hour and a half’s walk

一小时半的步行
