英语语法：“of+名词”属格的用法

前面我们学习了英语语法: brains和things的用法、名词所有格’s的用法、-s或-es结尾的复数名词、词尾s发/z/的名词所有格用法、整体词组加’s名词所有格用法、同位语后加’s的名词所有格用法、measure up to 的用法

5）当名词后有另一名词作同位语，’s一般放在同位语的名词之后。例如：

My uncle Black’s house我叔叔布莱克的家

例句：Then you brought food to My uncle Black’s house.

然后你送了些吃的去我叔叔布莱克的家。

结构分析：Then是状语，you是主语，brought是谓语，过去一般时，food是宾语，to My uncle Black’s house是目的状语。

 

（2）“of + 名词”属格

of + 名词也可以表示所有关系。例如：

the front gate of the palace宫殿的前门

But the front gate of the palace was not.

可宫殿的大门没开。

结构分析：But是连接词，表示转折，the front gate of the palace是主语，was not是系表型谓语。
