这是《Five Little Speckled Frogs 五只斑点小青蛙 - 英语儿歌听唱跳202009》和《FIVE LITTLE DUCKS 五只小鸭子 - 英语儿歌听唱跳202004》两首歌同曲调重新填词而成的一首儿歌，并且歌词的结构也基本一样，都是五个啥啥一起出门了，回来的只有四个，再出门一趟回来就剩三个了，如此类推。
当然，小朋友们就是喜欢这样玩，因为最后总是会全都回来的，一个都不会少，所以这就是一个打破规则的游戏，他们当然喜欢。
从语言上说，这首先是一首完整的故事性歌曲，所以用的是一般过去时，有许多动词的过去式：
went said flew
其次，这首歌是双行体，每两行押一个韵脚，基本上都是night、fright两行，boo、flew两行。
在一般过去时的基础上，这首歌的每一节都使用了动词的-ing分词形式用作伴随状语：haunting, spooking。
最后值得注意的就是back to the house这个副词+介词词组形式的状语成分用在主干结构之前，但这并不成为倒装，是正常的语序。
