此次课的教学内容是一篇较长的阅读文章On My Way to School. 这是一篇侧重韵律的文章。同上一个故事Glen is Late有相同的部分,即是两个故事的主人公小男孩都上学迟到了。这篇文章的教学目标与上一篇也差不多相同,在上一篇文章的基础上,又加入了韵律rhyming words和顺序性逻辑思维的培养,即first, next, then, last的内容,同时可以加强和巩固孩子们对文章的理解。具体细节主要是 (1)培养孩子们的阅读兴趣和发散性思维, (2)养成良好的带着目的去阅读的良好习惯; (3)锻炼孩子们的语言表达和运用能力。 具体达到目标的方法如下: (1)利用一些问题和讨论来带动孩子们的阅读兴趣和发散性思维,具体细节稍后会在上课步骤上来说明;同时在正式的课文讲解之前,会先介绍一些key/core words,并同时让孩子们能够利用这些key/core words用自己的语言和想象力先“编”一个故事。 (2)在正式的开始阅读文章之前,会问孩子们一个Main Question(直奔文章主旨的问题),然后在学习文章的过程中,会问孩子们一些Guided Questions(引导孩子们向文章主旨靠近的问题,同时锻炼孩子们的定位信息能力),让孩子们带着Main Question去开始阅读文章。具体流程和细节如下。O(∩_∩)O~

★ Questions and Answers 重点解决的143页的4个问题: 1. What makes the boy late first? What makes him late next? 2. Have you ever been late for school? Tell what happened? 3. Could this story really happen? Tell why or why not? 4. What makes both the boy in “On My Way to School”and “Glen is Late”? 值得一提的是第三个问题:这个故事会真的发生吗?说说为什么?孩子们的回答很精彩。 C: No,because crocodile can not stay at school. W: No, because the apes can not fish. F: No, because the pig can not have a pig on his head. J: No, because the frogs can not mop.
