惊绝:雕塑中的神秘丽纱,若隐若现,扑朔迷离,让人想入非非!


大理石石质柔软,伴有半透明的柔润色感,特别适合于雕刻复杂细节,体现出人体精细结构和衣服流动的褶皱。从雕刻面纱就可以看出它是体现细节的绝佳材料,具有得天独厚的优势。

在19世纪,“面纱”是雕塑作品中的热门,因为雕塑家可以通过雕刻面纱展现自己绝佳的技艺。意大利雕塑家乔凡尼·斯特拉扎创作的《蒙着面纱的圣母》,圣母玛利亚用面纱遮住了她真实的面部轮廓,她闭上眼睛,低着头,看起来似乎是在平静地祈祷,又似乎是在表达悲伤。这两种表情都符合圣母玛利亚像的历史特征。

要在石头这样的固体材料,打造出附着在身体上的一块流动的织物,需要高超的技术。也是因为这个原因,欧洲的雕塑家就爱给雕像穿上披风或是长袍等,以此彰显他们的雕塑才能。
