For this topic, I would really like to say something about a Chinese transportation network company headquartered in Beijing: Didi Chuxing. It provides vehicles and taxis for hire in China via smartphone applications. It is similar to apps such as GrabTaxi in Southeast Asia as well as Lyft in the United States.

Actually, Didi Chuxing is often referred to as the “Uber of China”. It operates several different transportation services, including taxi hailing,a hitchhiker-like service  and Wi-Fi-equipped buses for commuters.

Recently, I became more interested in this company because  Didi Chuxing just confirmed that it will merge with Uber China's business. This action will put an end to the two companies' cash-burning fight over the dominance of China's ride-hailing market. As for me, I would say, in most cases, the price of Didi Chuxing is often the lowest among similar applications. I will continue using it and at the same time, keep following this firm's future progress.
