英语阅读:过了小年就是年,还有汉服 kicks of Xiaonian
一、怎么“英语阅读”?绝对不是也不能“英译汉”“才懂”
Tomorrow kicks off Xiaonian (literally minor New Year), the day when People celebrate the beginning of the Spring Festival. The day falls on the 23rd (Northern China) and 24th (Southern China) of La Yue, the last month on the Chinese calendar. On this day, people clean their homes and pray to the Kitchen God, asking him to say good things for them when he reports to the Jade Emperor.
Groups of people in China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and even Germany dress up in traditional Chinese clothing, Hanfu, to celebrate this day. Hanfu has an over 2000 year history and literally means "Han clothing", the clothing of the Han Chinese, an ethnic group composing more than 90 percent of China's population.
这篇“小文”(文字还浅显,但不意味着“我用中文轻松就能懂)充满了让我们“读”英语“用”英语的“素材”,让人“读”得直呼“过瘾”,也只有这样“英语阅读”才“过瘾”:
二、“读”英语“用”英语,以“不变”(练查英英字典习惯和能力,用英语读英语习惯和能力)应“万变”(读再多英语都不怕,“读”越多,英语“用”越多):
1) Tomorrow kicks off Xiaonian (literally minor New Year),
1.Okay.I got you.Tomorrow kicks off Xiaonian means It will be Xiaonian tomorrow. So,if it is my birthday,I can also say Tomorrow kicks off my birthday. It's a better word.I love it.
2.We will have our party on next Monday.Well I can also say Next Monday kicks off our party.
这就是英语“读”越多也“用”越多。
2)Xiaonian (literally minor New Year),the day when People celebrate the beginning of the Spring Festival.
1.Okay.I got you.Xiaonian means Xiaonian minor New Year in China.
“读”到英语(汉语拼音)Xiainian,为什么非得“说”中文“小年”“才懂”不可呢?“说”英语不行吗?
2.Okay.I got you.Xisonian,or minor New Year in China means the day when People celebrate the beginning of the Spring Festival.
3) The day falls on the 23rd (Northern China) and 24th (Southern China)
Okay.I got you.The day falls on the 23rd means The day is on the 23rd.So,It's my birthday tomorrow,I can also say my birthday is on tomorrow,or falls on tomorrow.
4) La Yue, the last month on the Chinese calendar
千万千万不要把英语(汉语拼音)La Yue“说”成中文“腊月”(否则英语阅读就“完蛋”了):
Okay.I got you.La Yue in China means the last month on the Chinese (lunar)(很多人估计你让他“用”这个词他不会用,到写出来给他看:哦,我认得,学过。这就是英语“只学不用”calendar.
5) Groups of people in China, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, and even Germany dress up in traditional Chinese clothing, Hanfu, to celebrate this day. Hanfu has an over 2000 year history and literally means "Han clothing", the clothing of the Han Chinese, an ethnic group composing more than 90 percent of China's population.
1.Okay.I got you.Hanfu,or Han Clothing,is the traditional Chinese clothing(不要“说”中文“汉服”,否则就练不到英语(口语)了)。
2.Okay.I got you.The Han Chinese us an ethnic group composing more than 90 percent of China's population.
当然,把“汉族”说成也是中国的一个ethnic是不正确,更别说是准确的。不过这是语言学习之外的“题外话”。
