Dear editor,

I'm glad to write to you. Nowadays, some middle school students still take after-school classes at weekends or during the holidays though the Double Reduction policy has been carried out. There are two different opinions about it.

Some people agree with it. They think taking after-school classes can make students learn better and enter a good senior high school.What's more, it can help them avoid spending too much time on TV or computer games.

However, many other people disagree with it. They think it takes up students' free time. Students need time to rest and relax. Besides,after-school classes can cause more pressure of study. It's not good for their development.

In my opinion, if necessary, we can take after-school classes, but it can't take up too much time. We should have some time to rest at weekends or during the holidays.
