二.介绍本班学生收到的来自美国W.J.Johnston中学笔友的来信.

九．通过小组活动“今天我是志愿者”，操练所学句型。

【设计意图】与朋友有关的英语歌曲，回归本单元主题，并让学生轻松的结束本节课的学习。
教学反思：
本节录像课在08年4月举行的淄博市青年教师教学基本功大赛中获一等奖。课的准备、讲授到后期剪辑历时一周。准备过程中得到了学校领导和教研组老师的大力支持，让我感受到教学中得每一点进步都得到了团队合作得推动，由衷地对老师们表示感谢。
在备课的过程中，我对Unit 6 Where is your pen pal from?进行了一定的加工，根据学生的实际生活，延深、扩展了教材的内容。除了教授课文中的重点单词以外，还扩充了一些相关的单词，同时让学生自主创设情境，操练所学过的语言文化知识。整节课内容以交外国笔友为线索，谈论国籍、居住城市及语言。在授课中注重课本内容与现实生活的结合，突出英语任务型教学的特点，让学生在快乐中学习语言。交外国笔友的活动，让学生学会了理解和尊重异国文化。奥运圣火的传递活动中，利用多媒体动态直观展示圣火传递路线，渗透跨学科学科学习的特点，让学生更加了解世界并激发了他们强烈的爱国热情。模拟奥运志愿者的小组活动的开展，使学生进一步操练本单元的重点句型，提高了迎奥运、讲文明、树新风，为奥运做贡献的积极性并增强了团队的合作意识。
英语作为一门语言，应体现它的交际功能，我一贯认为学生会应用英语是关键。给学生自由发挥的空间，通过小组合作，让他们充分的发挥想象，运用所学的内容自编自演谈话场景。这样学生可以活学活用英语，同时也培养了学生的表演才能。有的学生极有想象力和创造力，能够有一些新点子自创情境，而且往往不局限于本节的内容。像在本节课中，学生在“今天我是志愿者”环节中当堂自制祥云火炬并想象出极其有趣且符合实际的情景，让我都为学生的表现感到惊讶。学生在表演中运用目标语言的成功与否是我教学落实与否的一大衡量标准。
从整节课来看，也有一些有待改进之处。本节课是新授课，为了体现英语任务型教学的特点，在授课中大量创设情景，没有让学生进行过多的笔头练习，期待先说会才能写会，但在今后的常规教学中要注意笔头练习，更加适应考试的形势。且课堂时间有限，情景表演只能让班里半数学生上台展示，如果能够给学生更多参与的机会，让学生有更多的时间操练，课堂效果会更好一些。课后反思、总结让自己有了努力的目标与方向，盼望经过努力，会有更多的“我最喜欢的一堂课”。
