1. What kind of clothing do you like best?
I'm glad if people can tell my profession by looking at my clothes. In other word, I like clothes that are somewhat conservative but feminine and I want others to associate me with a conscientious and caring teacher. Linen jackets and cotton blouses are my favourite, but I tend to wear a fabulous silky dress or skirt when I go out on weekend.
2. How do elder people feel about younger people's clothing?
Previously, I thought the elderly found the youngsters' clothes totally unacceptable because most of them are a bit too bold or casual. But after associating with some senior citizens in my neighborhood, I noticed that they are quite in favor of what young people are wearing today. In fact, when those ladies in their late 50s do the square dance in the courtyard, they are in taffeta skirts and colourful leggings! Even the old gentlemen I run into on the street are commonly in loose T-shirts with a baseball hat. It seems they dress themselves in this way to look younger.
3. Who bought clothes for you when you were a child?
My mother was in charge of what I was wearing and she really took pleasure in choosing clothes for me. Since my family was well-to-do, I got a large wardrobe of clothes from my mother. I think she had influenced me a lot in my taste of clothing. Not only that, Mom also helped me with the matching. She knew how wonderful a little girl would look in a pink Minnie dress along with a dark brown sweater. Anyway, arranging my clothes was certainly one of her biggest hobbies, and it still is.
4. What is the relationship between the colour of the clothes and the personality of people?
There is some certain relevance between the two. From what I see, people who want to come across as being reliable, modest and of grace will choose conventional colours like cream, pale blue, all shades of grey, black and white because these colours never go wrong in any occasion. Those people are not so daring as to wear bright pink, orange or metallic blue like the adventurous and bold do.
