How do you use your five senses?
教学目标
(一) 语言知识目标
孩子将能够:
1.掌握人体五种感官的基本表达;
2.学会谈论我们怎样用五种感官来感知这个世界。
(二) 情感态度目标
1.激发孩子对感知身边美好事物的热情。
2.引导孩子好好爱护我们用来感知事物的每个身体部位。

活动一: 你怎样认识这个世界?
Activity One: How do you learn the world?
活动教具:学生用书P40-41
活动说明:
1.家长与孩子一起谈论学生用书P40-41的图片。

P: We are going to talk about our five senses this week. First let’s have a look at the picture on page 40-41. What can you see from this picture?
K: I can see a girl smelling some flow-ers.
P: Yes, she is smelling. Actually we can also say she is using her senses to learn the world. Everyone has five senses. Do you know what they are?
K: I’m not sure.
P: Well, how do you learn about things? For example, how do you taste an ice cream? Or see a dog and hear a bee buz-zing? How do you smell a flower and feel the cold water? They are all related to yo-ur senses.
K: Wow, do you mean I use my five s-enses to taste, see, hear, smell and feel t-hings?
P: You are right. Our brain uses the fi-ve senses to tell us about the whole wor- ld.
K: So what are the five senses called?
P: That’s a good question. The five senses are sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.
2. 家长拿出一张纸,在中间画一个圈,写上My five senses, 让孩子画出身体部位并填写对应单词,完成My five senses思维导图。

活动二: 引导孩子讨论怎样使用感官。
Activity Two: Guide children to talk about ways they have used their senses.
活动说明:
1. 家长引导孩子说出我们分别使用身体的哪个部位来看、听、闻、尝、触摸并完成下表。
2. 家长为孩子设定一个环境:park,讨论:How can we use our senses to tell about the park? 并引导孩子画出思维导图。
What can you see in the park?
→ birds, ducks, trees, grass….
What can you hear in the park?
→ birds singing, children shouting….
What can you smell in the park?
→ fresh air, flowers….
What can you taste in the park?
→ ice cream, hot dog….
What can you touch in the park?
→ grass, flowers….
Key Point Three: Our body parts need our protection.
活动三: 我们应该怎样爱护帮助我们感知事物的各个身体部位?
Activity Three: How do we take care of the parts of our bodies that let us use our senses?

活动说明:
家长引导孩子谈论怎样爱护我们的眼、耳、鼻、嘴、手。
(P = parent; K = kid)
P:Do you like watching TV, honey?
K: Yes, I do.
P:Do you remember what I usually s-aid when you sat too close to the TV?
K: You said: “ Move back from the TV.”
P:Right. Do you know why?
K: Because it’s bad for my eyes.
P:Yes, we should protect our eyes si-nce we can see nothing without them. We must not sit too close to the TV or comp-uter monitor, and play too many mobile games either. Actually we use different body parts for different senses, so we ne-ed to take care of all the parts of our bod-ies that let us use our senses.
K: And we should protect our ears, no-se, mouth and hands too.
P:How can you take care of your ear-s?
K: Don’t listen to loud music.
P:Great. And how about your nose and mouth?
K: I don’t know.
P:Avoid things that have very strong smells, and brush your tongue regularly.
K: Wow, that’s what I do.
P:You’ve done a very good job. And do you know how you can take good care of your hands?
K: Wash hands after using the restroo-m or playing outside?
P:Wonderful.
Activity Four: Reading activity---Sam can see & I can see.
活动教具:学生用书P44-55。
活动说明:
1.家长与孩子一起阅读Sam can see.
(P = parent; K = kid)
P: The title of the book is Sam can see. From the first page of this story, can you guess who Sam is?
K: The cat.
P: Where is Sam?
K: He is in a garden.
P: Now look at page 45. Who do the children see?
K: They see Sam.
P: What part of the body are they usin-g to see?
K: They are using their eyes to see.
P: Turn to page 46 now. Who can the children see now?
K: They can see a bird.
P: Where is the bird?
K: The bird is in a sink.
P: How about page 47 and 48? What does Sam see?
K: He sees the bird too.
P: Where is the bird on page 49?
K: The bird is in a tree.
P: What does the bird see?
K: The bird sees Sam too.
2. 家长与孩子一起阅读 I can see.
拓展活动:
1. 读诗歌:The Sailor Went to Sea, Sea, Sea
2. 读诗歌:I Smell Springtime
3. 讨论下面5图中是怎样使用五种感官感知事物的。
