摘要 继耶鲁大学医学院图书馆开展了个人图书馆员项目之后,耶鲁大学图书馆及其各学院图书馆也开始实施个人图书馆员服务,为每一位新生配备一名图书馆员,负责这名新生大一大二期间的所有咨询服务.耶鲁大学图书馆个人图书馆员项目的实施,有效地缓解了新生“图书馆焦虑”,帮助新生规划大学的学习和科研生活.我国高校图书馆要积极借鉴耶鲁大学图书馆的做法,重视新生“图书馆焦虑”,完善学科服务手段,明确个人馆员服务内容的界限,加强服务的评估和改进,为用户提供嵌入式的个人图书馆员服务. Following Yale School of Medicine, the Yale University Library and its college libraries started theproject of personal librarian, which matches every freshman with librarians who will be responsible for all the consultants of new students. The project of personal librarian in Yale University Library effectively alleviates freshmen＇ s a library anxie ty, helping them to plan study and research life. Our university library should actively leam from the practice of Yale University Library,paying more attention toalibrary anxiety ,improving the service of subject service, defining the boundaries of personal librarian service, and providing users with embedded personal librarian service.
