近期，全国疫情防控总体向好。从下周开始，多个省市区的学校，将要相继错峰开学。渡过漫长加长版的假期，同学们回到校园，也一定是百感交集。那么在收到开学通知后，大家又是怎么盘算的呢？是将头发梳成大人模样，穿的像相亲一样；还是憋了一个寒假的思念，只想等着开学相见？那么今天就让我们来结合这道雅思口语话题，教大家如何去描述“你通过短信得到的一条重要信息”。

I was super excited that our school finally started after a whole semester of self-quarantining during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is a viral respiratory illness caused by a newly identified coronavirus discovered in late 2019. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses, and it is estimated that they caused roughly one-third of all cases of the common cold. The virus is thought to spread between people who are in close contact through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. It may also spread when one person touches a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touches their mouth, nose, or eyes. The most common symptoms are fever, cough, and difficulty breathing. Some people may experience muscle aches, headaches or a sore throat. Symptoms appear 2 to 14 days after exposure to the virus.

There are currently no treatments and no vaccine for covid-19. People with covid-19 may receive supportive care to help relieve symptoms. Patients may also be asked to self-quarantine at home in order to prevent spreading it to others, and the best protection is to avoid getting exposed to the virus from others. Which is the reason why all our courses have moved online and everyone was forced to study at home to try and avoid any interpersonal contacts. I’m just so glad this pandemic is getting better now and we can finally get back to school.
