    艺术的发展史是人类文明共同交融发展而成,不可能是一枝独秀,当代艺术家应该站在人类文明的视野去思考问题,才能知道本国的文明高度。对生命的悲悯与尊重是现代文明社会的基本内核,也是艺术家的基本心质。艺术家的作品体现了对生命的关爱,对社会的体验,对世界的认知。在疫情不便之际我通过线上交流展的方式,以"各境与相望"作为展览的主题,让艺术家用艺术作品来沟通彼此、传递关爱、融合文明,让艺术拥抱世界。

   The development history of art is the integration and development of human civilization, which can not stand alone. Contemporary artists should think from the perspective of human civilization in order to know the height of their own civilization. Compassion and respect for life is not only the basic core of modern civilized society, but also the basic essence of artists. The artist's works embody the love for life, the experience of society and the cognition of the world. At a time when the epidemic situation is inconvenient, I use the online exchange exhibition to take "all environments and facing each other" as the theme of the exhibition, so that artists can use their works of art to communicate with each other, convey love, integrate civilization, and let art embrace the world.

艺术思考:

   江海的油画创作基本上是以社会现实为题材,三十年来所创作的几百幅大型油画作品,以批判性、实验性和以极具张力的表现性油画语言,倾力表现社会现实内部异化的、扭曲的人性,以及个体生命在现实存在空间中的处境。在面对历史、现实与个人的关系时,他既注重个体生命的精神内质,又强调人性内部各种隐秘复杂的存在状态。从而在他作品的视觉上造成观看的具象与抽象的混淆,现实与虚拟的错位。并又强制性地将我们带回到社会的现实境遇当中——一个不同权力意志与资本欲望的各种景观并存于都市的异化空间,一种历史的断裂与现实的无序的实质所在。在社会转型的不断动荡与变化中,始终坚守着人文主义的情怀。江海的艺术创作也许难以在中国当代艺术类型化、符号化的趋同性里界定、归类,而是在自愿边缘化的选择中,坚守着他极端地叛逆、质疑与无所顾忌地表现——一个只有艺术家才能够达到的极限。  

“(我)觉得当代艺术在中国应该有’刺',尖锐的’刺'…”

Artistic thinking:

   Jiang Hai's oil painting creation is basically based on the social reality. Hundreds of large-scale oil paintings created in the past 30 years strive to express the alienated and distorted human nature within the social reality and the situation of individual life in the real existence space with critical, experimental and highly tensile expressive oil painting language. In the face of the relationship between history, reality and individual, he not only pays attention to the spiritual essence of individual life, but also emphasizes various hidden and complex existing states in human nature. Thus, the visual perception of his works causes the confusion of concrete and abstract viewing, and the dislocation of reality and virtuality. It also forcibly brings us back to the reality of society - a variety of landscapes with different power will and capital desire coexist in the dissimilated space of the city, which is the essence of historical fracture and realistic disorder. In the continuous turbulence and changes of social transformation, we always adhere to the feelings of humanism. Jiang Hai's artistic creation may be difficult to define and classify in the convergence of typology and symbolization of Chinese contemporary art, but in the choice of voluntary marginalization, he adheres to his extreme rebellion, questioning and reckless performance - a limit that only artists can achieve.

艺术思考:

     Ferney一直从事摄影工作十多年了。作为工具,他更喜欢模拟摄影他发现自己完全沉浸在物体/主体之前缺席或在场。他的作品主要集中在街头摄影。然而由于电影摄影的独特本质,费尼不断地薄膜显影中的化学过程实验相机本身的物理机制。进一步的研究促使他仔细研究有关框架(空间)和时间,推动框架的边界封装;通过这样做,负面影响的充分扩大发挥了作用,作为一种艺术形式的形象塑造行为的基本方面,表征,以及对感知的担忧反应。“在地球上,人被地心引力压垮,他的身体被沉重的重量包裹着肌肉;他出汗;他跑步;他罢工;即使是困难重重,他也跳了起来。然而,我清楚地看到,在黑暗中疲劳,第一缕色彩,预示着我所说的黎明“三岛由纪夫”太阳和钢铁,最后一组自画像名为-UNBEHAGEN-(不舒服)阐述保护理念和暴力作为转型与重生。其中包含的元素是泰拳和传统拳击。

Artistic thinking:

   Ferney has been working on photography for

more than a decade. As the tool, he prefers analogue photography, that

one in which he finds himself fully immersed in the symbiotic nature of

being absent or present before the object/subject.

His body of work mainly focuses on street photography. However,

because of the unique essence of film photography, Ferney constantly

experiments with chemical processes in film development in conjunction

with the physical mechanisms of the camera itself.

Further research has pushed him to scrutinise composition concerning

frame (space) and time, pushing the boundaries of what the frame

encapsulates; by doing so, the full extension of the negative plays a

fundamental aspect in the act of image-making as a form of

representation, as well as an apprehensive response to perception.

“On earth, man is weighed down by gravity, his body encased in heavy

muscles; he sweats; he runs; he strikes; even, with difficulty, he leaps. At

times, nevertheless, I have unmistakably seen, amidst the darkness of

fatigue, the first tinges of color that herald what I have called the dawn of

the flesh” Yukio Mishima “Sun and Steel”

These last series of self-portraits named -UNBEHAGEN- (Uncomfortable)

elaborate on the idea of protection and violence as a factor of

transformation and rebirth. The elements included on these are part of

the Muay Thai boxing and traditional boxing.

艺术思考:

   艺术对我来讲已成为生活的日常,每天都要做的一件事,每天都会等待将要出现什么。

艺术是一种好奇心。

我喜欢在一张白画布上发现意外,不是打好一个草稿,或者事先做好草图,而是直接下笔。

艺术是一种直观,是此时此刻,是自然、人文、社会等一切包罗万象归结为零的开始和结束。

Artistic thinking:

  For me, art has become a daily thing in life. I have to do it every day and wait for what will happen every day.

Art is a kind of curiosity.

I like to find accidents on a white canvas. Instead of making a draft or making a sketch in advance, I write directly.

Art is a kind of intuition. It is the beginning and end of all inclusive nature, humanities, society and so on at this moment.

艺术思考:

 《光阴》——光阴漫漫,容光焕发的样子

   时间是物质的永恒运动、变化的持续性、顺序性的表现,时间是人类用以描述物质运动过程或事件发生过程的一个参数。时间对于生命体的人来讲,它一直向着生命的终点狂奔,同样,按宇宙法则的熵增定律来讲,时间也是一直朝着不可逆的方向前行,一直一直在延续。这样讲,时间是一个比较抽象的物理概念,所以我更喜欢用光阴这个词,

可感,可知,可描述,更具体,更有形象感。

   光阴似箭,光阴冗长,光阴荏苒……这些都是在不同情绪、思维、认知或者经历上对光阴的感受与表达,对我来讲更想用“漫漫”来形容光阴。“漫漫”指一种长久貌,光阴持久而不间断,有一股延绵不绝又十分厚重的力。“漫漫”也表达一种充盈状,广袤无际,填满整个空间与生命缝隙。“漫漫”还有一种因长久且饱满而形成的浩然之气,无边无际,不受约束,蔚为壮观的气象。“漫”是指水过满后向四处流淌,有一种向外放射的动感。如经历过一段时间的积淀,有一种突如其来的通透,这种精神层面上的光彩会从容貌中溢出,这种充满能量的样子我们称它为容光焕发。我想对于每个人来讲,这样的感受也许都曾经历过,或者正在亲历中,或者还在追求着。容光焕发的样子应该是一个新的光阴的开启。

Artistic thinking:

  "Time" - time is long and radiant

  Time is the eternal movement of matter, the persistence and sequence of change. Time is a parameter used by human beings to describe the process of material movement or the occurrence of events. For people who live, time has been rushing towards the end of life. Similarly, according to the law of entropy increase of the universal law, time has been moving in an irreversible direction and continues. In this way, time is an abstract physical concept, so I prefer to use the word time,

  Sensible, knowable, descriptive, more specific, more vivid.

Time flies, time is long, time flies... These are the feelings and expressions of time in different emotions, thinking, cognition or experience. For me, I want to use "long" to describe time. "Long" refers to a long-term appearance. Time is lasting and uninterrupted, with a continuous and very thick force. "Long" also expresses a kind of filling, vast and boundless, filling the gap between the whole space and life. "Long" also has a magnificent atmosphere formed by long and full, boundless, unrestrained and magnificent. "Diffuse" refers to the water flowing around after it is full, with a sense of outward radiation. For example, after a period of accumulation, there is a sudden permeability, and this spiritual Brilliance will overflow from the appearance. This energetic appearance is called radiant. I think for everyone, such feelings may have been experienced, or are experiencing, or are still pursuing. The radiant appearance should be the opening of a new time.

艺术思考:

    生活在现代社会的我们经常经历短暂的人际关系。 大多数这些短暂的 人际关系, 都是为了我们自身的利益而形成的。 在这些关系中, 我们为了不受失落感和虚荣感的折磨, 或者不从道德 和社会的价值中脱身而戴"面具"。 这种假面具给个人带来精神上的安慰, 同时也赋予对我们行为的正当性。 现代社会的人们梦想通过反复进行这 种安慰自己的行为来挽救自己的精神, 但最终在精神上变得越来越疲急, 甚至依赖于所谓假面的人格。 我的作品是关于在现代社会中依赖面具的很多人的故事。 在我的画中 出现的"娃娃 (Characters-Doll) "通过空虚的眼睛、 紧闭嘴巴的头发等 形象, 代表着包括我在内的现代社会的成员。 我想通过这些娃娃, 表现 为过不关心、 残忍、 无情的生活而努力孤军奋战的现代社会成员的自我, 并对因这种现实而只能变得更加孤独和荒废的人们的内心世界加以表现。

Artistic thinking:

  We, living in the contemporary society, experience the short human relationships frequently. In such relationships, we form some mutually beneficial connections. In this course, we put on our own masks in order not to suffer from a sense of loss or vanity or break away from the moral and social values. As it is, we protect ourselves, while putting on the mask for our mental comfort and dreaming of a psychological redemption. As a result, we become more and more fragile and dependent. This is a story about our contemporary people including me. The dolls in the works representing my ego feature empty eyes, closed mouth and drooped hairs. I intended, through such dolls, to reveal our inner world struggling hard to survive the indifferent, cruel and heartless reality, suggesting that our inner world is solitary and desolate.
