D：Firstly congratulations on your new exhibition successfully opening. It is your 8th solo exhibition right? But this one is quite different, it is about zodiacs. I am curious why you paint the theme of zodiacs? 赵燕：首先祝贺您新展览成功开幕，这是你第八次展览，对吧？但是这次展览和以往7次都不同，是关于星座的。我特别好奇为什么这次您以星座为创作主题呢？J：The idea of decorating the guests’ rooms of Golden Tulip hotel is from the staff of this wonderful hotel. Mainly, the General Manager Eric van Haastrecht approached me about this cooperation. I was then thrilled to conceptualize each painting. It started with the Lion Painting in early August. But before that, I was actually starting my portrait. This self-portrait eventually became the Aquarius sign which is my zodiac. The paintings were amazingly created one after the other. There were nights when I didn’t sleep and just painted. At the same time, I was working for my company to coordinate things for an exciting new project- The zodiac themed rooms.詹森·莫雷诺：虹桥郁锦香客房装饰的想法来自这家酒店的工作人员——时任总经理的Eric van Haastrecht 找我谈这次合作，我非常兴奋能够做一些概念化的作品，八月初我从狮子座作品开始创作，但此前，我实际上在进行个人肖像的创作。最终，这幅个人肖像成为了水瓶座的作品，因为水瓶座是我的星座。一幅接着一幅，我兴奋极了，手中画笔不停歇，有几个不眠之夜，我依旧笔耕不辍。同时，我个人公司开始星座主题房间的新项目的协调工作。
D：Could you give us more detailed introduction of your zodiacs works and the style you used?赵燕：您可以介绍一下星座系列作品创作的细节及其使用风格吗？J：The zodiac paintings were all done using my signature palette knife technique. This is a technique using thick strokes of paints spread by a spatula or palette knife onto the canvas. The colors or pigments when applied on the surface, created the mixture of colors. Most of the colors mixed visually when seen from a far. The details of the strokes are seen vividly on a closer look. I always enjoy painting ever since I was very young. I started my creations as early as one and a half years old. I have mastered portraiture in many different styles but I found my identity on doing it with palette knife technique. It gives me so much pleasure to be able to express myself and impress myself at the same time. Each painting is a vision coming to life.詹森·莫雷诺：所有星座系列创作皆采用了我特有的调色刀手法，即用抹刀或调色板刀在画布涂抹厚厚的颜料。当颜色或颜料叠加就出现了颜色的混合。从远处看，大多数颜色在视觉上是混合的，仔细观察这些笔触是如此的淋漓尽致。从小我就喜欢画画，早在一岁半时就开始创作。我掌握了不同风格肖像画，但当我发现自己的个人肖像画采用调色板刀技术，我很高兴即能表达自己，同时也为自己留下深刻印象，每一幅画都是一幅幅栩栩如生的生活图景。
D：You are Aquarius， How do you rate your zodiac?赵燕：您是水瓶座，您是如何评价您的星座呢？J：I am an Aquarius, I have a very strong and dominant personality. I enjoy work that allows me to tap into the unknown and show off my intellectual process. We are the happiest when there are few restrictions to allow our creative minds to soar. My character often gravitates to careers that allow me to help others in some ways as well.詹森·莫雷诺：我是水瓶座，有着非常强且主观的个人色彩。我喜欢那些让我深入未知世界并能展示出我的智力过程的工作。当无所限制时，就是创造性思维腾飞之时，这时的我们最幸福。在某些方面能助力他人的职业常常吸引着我。
D：How is your exhibition going? Could you please tell us more about your unique style and concept?赵燕：您展览进展如何?可以详细介绍一下您创作的独特风格和概念吗？J： “Constellations” the Jensen Moreno 8th solo exhibition is not only about the zodiac signs. The paintings are conceptualized by my dreams in life as well. As the characteristics of each zodiacs, our dreams are like those shinning stars, the stars shine brightly and form the constellation signs, we always want to achieve our dreams and reach for the stars. But sometimes we don’t realize that the stars are already with us and the stars are inside us. We need to release these stars and show our brightness through our talents and capabilities. Our characters, our zodiacs are all unique. We shine brightly when we show our uniqueness.詹森·莫雷诺：“星座—詹森·莫雷诺第八届个人作品展”不仅仅是十二星座的图示，同时，这些画也是从我生活中梦想构思而来。在每个十二星座中，我们的梦想就像那些闪耀的星星，星光灿烂，形成星座符号，我们总是想实现自己的梦想，去追逐星辰。但有时我们并未意识到星星和我们在一起，就在我们内心里。我们需要通过展示自己的才华和能力来释放这些星星。我们的角色，我们的十二星座都是独一无二的。当展现出自己的独特性时，我们会光芒四射。
D：What is your next step or plan for your future art projects?赵燕：接下来您在艺术项目中会有哪些计划呢？J：Often I find myself believing that everything is well-prepared for me already. Even the obstacles I am facing from time to time. My destiny is written in the stars. My plan is to make the plans a reality as the opportunities unfold and design the life that I want and make great things happen for me and my family as well as the people dear to my heart. I thank everyone always for their trust and believing in my talent regardless of where I am coming from.詹森·莫雷诺：我经常发现自己相信一切都已准备好了，虽然我时常会面临一些挫折。我的命运写在星星上，所有的计划会随着机会展开，把计划变成现实，设计我想要的生活，为我和我的家人以及我心爱的人创造美好的事情。无论我来自哪里，我始终感谢每一个人对我的信任。
D：Time piece focuses on the value of individual and spread new and independent ideas and values of lifestyles, We have a slogan called you are a piece of artwork, could you please tell us how you perceive it ?赵燕：时件生活专注于个人价值塑造，传递在生活方式中新且独立的思想和价值。我们的slogan 为：你就是一件艺术品，请您谈谈您如何理解它的？J：“You are a piece of artwork”. I really like this slogan. An artwork for me is anything created in a higher level of thinking. If you are making yourself great through the things you do and people appreciate the processes, you are becoming more and more valuable just like a piece of artwork.詹森·莫雷诺：你就是一件艺术品，我真的很喜欢这个slogan。艺术品于我而言是更高层思维下的产出。你若正通过你所做的事情来打造出更加优秀的自己，且人们能够赏识你所做的，此时，你就像一件艺术品一样，越来越有价值。
