今天要给大家分析下仁爱版七年级下册教科书出现的两组介词(短语):in front of/in the front of 和at the back of / behind。

in front of 与 in the front of。

这两个介词短语在拼写上就只差了个the,可意思是一样的，都有“在……前面”的意思。那么它们的用法有什么不一样呢？

1.in front of 在……前面 → 主要指在人/物外部的前面

There is a big tree in front of the classroom. 在教室前面有一棵大树。

----What’s in front of the house?房子前面有什么？

------There’s a car in front of it. 房子前面有一辆车。

She is in front of me.她在我前面。

2.in the front of 在……前面→ 主要指在物体内部的前面

There is a blackboard in the front of the classroom.

在教室前面有一块黑板。

There is a teacher’s desk in the front of the classroom.

在教室的前面有一张讲台。

at the back of 与 behind。

这两个介词(短语)也是同义词，都有“在……后面”的意思，可用法也是有所不同。

3.at the back of 在……后面→ 一主要指在物体内部的后面

She is cleaning the blackboard at the back of the classroom.

她正在擦教室后面的黑板。

There is a blackboard at the back of the classroom.

教室的后面有一块黑板。

4.behind…… 在……后面 → 主要指物体外部的后面

There is a tall tree behind my house.我家房子的后面有一棵高大的树。

There’s a cat behind the door.在门后有只猫。
