教学目标
1. 能力目标
(1)能听、说、读、写五个词组:climbed a mountain, learned Chinese, ate good food,took pictures, sang and danced
(2)能够针对假期生活进行简单的问答
2.知识目标
(1)掌握五个词组的过去式
(2)听说认读句子:where did you go on your holiday ?---I went to …
What did you do there ?
3.情感、策略、文化等有关目标:
渗透各地名胜古迹及饮食文化,培养学生的爱国情怀。
教学重点
掌握五个动词短语的过去式及where 与what引导的两个问句。
教学难点
难点是使学生在情景中运用对话中的句子,并恰当的替换所学词组。

教学过程

二次备课
1. 热身&复习:
(1)课前学生自主复习三单元所学动词过去式变化规则、读音规则及所掌握的若干动词过去式。
(2) Free talk:
T:what did you do last weekend?
S: I played football.\...
(设计意图):通过交谈让学生自由运用上一单元所学的动词过去式,为新课的学习奠定基础。
2.导入:
T: We can do lots of things on the weekend.Because we are free. Saturday is a holiday ,and Sunday is a holiday too.
(1)教学holiday
a. 学习holiday 一词的两个含义---1).假日,假期
2).渡假
b.导入课题:unit 4 My holiday part A
3.呈现&操练
(1)T:Labour holiday is coming. Last labour holiday, I went to Xinjiang. I went to Xinjiang on my holiday. 板书: I went to … .
问学生Where did you go on your holiday ?
S: I went to … .
引导全班同学问:Where did you go on your holiday ?

(2)T: I went to Xinjiang on my holiday. Look at this map. Liuhe is here ,and Xinjiang ix there. Guess, how did I go to Xinjiang ?
引导学生用Maybe you went by … 进行回答

(3)How about Xinjiang? Listen to my introduction.
课件展示介绍新疆的短文,并回答问题
1.What does “kebab”mean in Chinese?
2.What can you do in Xinjiang?
(设计意图):意在培养学生在阅读中分析单词含义的能力,并让学生通过音标阅读理解短文自学找出五个词组:climb a mountain, study Chinese, eat good food, take pictures, sing and dance.
(4)learn 与study 替换, 学习learn Chinese,并拓展学习learn English, learn P.E.,learn music….
(5) T:what did I do there ?
S: You climbed a mountain .\ learned Chinese.(注意学习learned 另外一种表示方法learnt)
(设计意图):这两个词组的过去是较为简单学生能自己说出动词+ed的过去式形式。
(6) ate good food
T:what eles did I do ? S: ate good food .
课件展示“ eat变 ate”---字母e位置发生变化,引导学生自己由单词的结构判断读音
(7)由good, food 两个单词中的-oo-字母组合引出发音规则“good foot stood wood wool –好脚站在木毛上;遇到老k发短音: book look cook”。让学生在此基础上自学“take 的过去式 took”。
T: The sound of “oo”in the word food is /u:/.But it’s short in good---/u/.
Let’s sing the chant: good foot stood wood wool –好脚站在木毛上;遇到老k发短音: book look cook
S: took---/tuk/ (引导学生听音写出单词)
(设计意图):授人以渔,不如授人以鱼。教给学生识记单词的方法,让学生有自学能力,学生才能学好英语。
(8)T:Someone ate good food and took pictures in my class last weekend. So I was a little angry.
课件:由单词angry 导出-ang-读音,进而让学生自己拼读sang 的读音。
并复习 swim---swam,拓展学习新词 sit---sat, begin---began…
学生读出sing and dance ---àsang and danced ,并操练。
(9)操练五个词组:
a.读词组卡片
b.以加法形式累加操练,eg: T:what did you do there?
S:I climbed a mountain and learned Chinese.
c.A guessing game:
猜测不同人物:what did …do there?
(设计意图):“兴趣是最好的老师”,运用不同的操练形式提高学生的学习兴趣,从而使学生主动学习知识。
(10)自学Let’s talk。
4.巩固& 拓展
(1)    活动Look at the old pictures
课件展示各地名胜古迹,饮食文化等,伴随优美的音乐声课件播放的一幅幅图片,让学生不自不觉中拓展了视野,增加了更多的词汇量。
学生观看课件后自由对话: where did you go on your holiday ?
What did you do there?
How did you go there?
Did you have a good time ?
(2)作文“My Holiday”引导学生运用本课知识书写一篇小作文。
(3)师小结
There are a lot of beautiful places in our country. I love you ,China.
(设计意图):巩固阶段设计是对本节可学习内容的概括,教师小结使得整堂课所提倡的热爱生活,热爱祖国大好河山的思想得以升华。
