1、 通过图片, 识别不同国家的标志性建筑
2、 通过图片, 认知不同国家及其首都的英语表达方式。
3、 在进入Eddie和Hobo对话前，可以先复习一下Eddie的性格特点。Does he likeshopping? Does he like exercise? Does he like sleeping? Does he like eating? 然后让同学设想Where would he like to live? 引入到课文教学。

二 能力目标: 1. 能听懂描述家的布局的介绍，在相对陌生的语境中识别具体信息。
2. 能识别有关家和家里各种物件的单词。了解房间和家具的位置。
三 教学建议：1. 本课的教学重点在于听懂家的布局的介绍，因此所有的教学活动都应围绕这个中心。
2. 在听介绍之前应带领学生回顾关于Neil 家的信息，激活旧知。
3. 听完介绍后适当提供给学生看图说话的机会，为完成课文填空练习做好准备。
4. 如果时间允许，让学生比较自己家于Neil家的区别，达到综合运用英语知识的能力。
四 教学思考：1 听与说是英语学习密不可分的两方面，听是输入，说是输出。Integrated Skills 本课虽应着重听力，但也可根据学生情况增加说的比例。
2 扎实的英语基础能帮助学生理解听力内容，在听力训练之前要对相关知识进行复习，提高听力训练效果。

一 知识目标：

三 教学建议： 1. 为了让学生能熟练掌握电话用语，可让学生练习几个短小的打电话常用方式。
2. 在打电话介绍家的活动之前，应对有关家里各种物件的单词，房间和家具的位置进行复习。这样有利于学生更好的设计对话。
3．语法的教学应在大量实践的基础上，由形象到抽象，得到规则。并再将规律运用到实践中去。以达到活学活用的目的。
