划重点：我们在此整理了主要内容（PDF原文获取方式见文末）。大家可以收藏/下载然后慢慢看哦~ 01a, an, the的使用 最常见的习惯是a、an和the的冠词被省略。因为中国的普通话中没有与冠词直接对应的词，而且对于非母语人士来说，使用冠词的规则有点复杂。 ▼问题 1.在需要的地方省略了a、an和the，2.在不需要的地方使用，或者造成句子冗长3.错误地使用 ▼举例 错误：Figure 2 shows the distribution of relative velocity on surface of main and splitter blades.15 正确：Figure 2 shows the distribution of relative velocity on the surface of the main and splitter blades.15 ▲总结 a和an是不定冠词，the是定冠词。A和an是不定冠词，表示名词以一般的方式表示(a plan)。The是定冠词，在名词之前表示特定项目(the plan)。 详细用法大家也可参考我们的推文：傻傻分不清的a 和 the怎么使用 02冗长句子 冗长句子在写作中特别常见，因为作者经常从中文直接翻译成英语。但在英语论文写作中，应当将每句话限制在一个或两个主题上（一句话表达一个意思）。例如： ▼太长了 The gear transmission is grade seven, the gear gap is 0.00012 radians, the gear gap has different output values corresponding to any given input value, nonlinearity of the gear gap model can be described by using the phase function method, the existing backlash block in the non-linear library of the Matlab/zdimulink toolbox can be used, the initial value of gear gap in the backlash block is set to zero.9( 没有句号，一句话形成了一大段) ▲正确写法 The gear transmission is grade seven / The gear gap, which is 0.00012 radians, has different output values corresponding to any given input value /The nonlinearity of the gear gap model can be described by using the phase function method /The existing backlash block in the non-linear library of the Matlab/zdimulink toolbox can be used / the initial value of gear gap in the backlash block is set to zero.（几个不同的句子组各有侧重） 当作者给出大量的数据/参数值时，不要将这些信息放入一个长句子中。最佳方法是将其作为项目列表代替文本阐述。 03将目的、位置或原因作为句子开头 中国作家常常以句子的目的、位置、原因等作为导语来说明句子的主题。然而，这会降低主要观点的重要性。应当将主要观点带到句子的开头，然后补充地点、原因等。 ▼举例 错误：For the application in automobile interiors, this paper studies the nesting optimization problem in leather manufacturing. 5（体现了我们汉语写作的行文习惯：“为了……，我们做了……研究”） 正确：This paper studies the nesting optimization problem in leather manufacturing for application in automobile interiors. （我们做了……研究，因为……） 错误：When U is taken as the control parameter, the BDs for ∆=0.0, 0.001, 0.005 are shown in Fig. 8.（当满足……条件，……如图所示） 正确： Figure 8 shows the BDs for ∆=0.0, 0.001, and 0.005 when U is taken as the control parameter.（……如图所示，当满足……条件） 04“In this paper”,'In this study' 使用这些短语时会出现两个错误。第一种是过度使用。在一些由中文撰写的论文中，这些短语可以出现多次。但在由英语母语的作家撰写的论文中，这些短语主要用于两种用途： ▲在引言和结语中，重点介绍了论文的内容。 ▲在论文正文中，指的是作者未完成的工作。 作者没必要在正文中重复这些短语，因为读者很清楚作者与该论文的关系。 第二个错误比较微妙，例如： 不当：In this paper,IDEAS was used to …. 正确：In this study, IDEAS was used to…. ▲总结 “study”是作者已经做过的工作，更适合用在这里。而“paper”是工作呈现的形式。作者还可以使用in this research或 in this paper present 替换。 05阿拉伯数字 中国作者经常用阿拉伯数字代替单词。当然，阿拉伯数字的使用本身不是错误，但它们不应该在句子开头使用： ▼举例 错误：12 parameters were selected for the experiment.正确：Twelve parameters were selected for the experiment. 此外，阿拉伯数字被过度使用。阿拉伯数字适合在技术论文中提供数据，但不适合提供一般信息： ▼举例 错误：All 3 studies concluded that the mean temperature should be 30°C. 正确：All three studies concluded that the mean temperature should be 30°C. 06“Figure” 和 “Table” 图表的缩写分别是Fig. 和 Tbl.。人们应该选择一个惯例，并在整个文件中使用它。不要在Figure, figure, Fig, 或fig.之间切换。 ▼举例 错误：Figure.6, Fig.6, Tbl10 正确：Figure 6, Fig. 6, Tbl. 10 07'Such as' 和 “etc.” 作者经常误用“such as” 和“etc.”。 such as 意思是“例如”，意味着后面要跟随非完整的一系列举例；etc.的意思是'等等’，用在句子末尾以表示前面的是非完整内容。 ▼举例 错误：Studies of methodology and process of implementing remanufacturing mainly focus on durable products such as automobile motors, printers, and etc. 正确：Studies of methodology and process of implementing remanufacturing mainly focus on durable productssuch asautomobile motors, and printers.
