The annual celebration of Earth Day is, to me, a celebration of hope.While we as human beings have yet to order our lifestyles, social structures,and institutions so that they nurture the Earth as it nurtures us, thegrowing popularity of this day signals agrowing awareness of the importanceof acting as stewards of the planet.每年地球日的庆祝，对我而言，是希望的庆祝。我们的生活方式，社会结构将可以滋养地球，正如地球滋养我们一样。对地球日关注度的提升表示成为地球管理者的重要性在提升。 For real change to happen, however, we need a visceral experience of the Earth’senergy. I have experienced the energy of the Earth as matching the energy I discovered deep within myself--my true nature.然而，若要改变真的发生，我们需要真切体验到地球能量。我体验到地球能量，与我的内在—我的真实本性，发出的能量一致。 That energy is characterized by an unconditionalcaring for all life. Connecting with the energy of the Earth unleashes and strengthens unconditional caring, motivating us to adopt habits that support life on the Earth. Our lifestyles, on the other hand, are relative valuesthat can be changed. Communing with theEarth we can learn to match relative values toour absolute value. So that we all may live well.
